MEMBER DUES

Students at VIU who have filled out the membership form and paid their club membership dues ($20 per semester) are called Members of the VIU CEC.

Non-Students who have filled out the membership form and paid their membership dues ($50 per year) are called Friends the VIU CEC.

We make this distinction because under the Constitution of the VIU Students Union, our governing body, there are restrictions on community membership.

Our Friends cannot: vote in our elections, run for executive positions, or govern the interests or functions of the club in any way, BUT are welcomed at all of our events and will enjoy the benefits of being associated with the club. Your support is important for the growth of the club and the local car community, so spread the word!
